NFL’s Twitter Account Hacked, Tweets Roger Goodell Died

The NFL confirmed the league's official Twitter account was hacked Tuesday, per CNN's Braden Walker. 
Whoever hacked the NFL's account sent out a tweet stating NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell had died, which the league announced is false:
According to NJ Advance Media's Matt Lombardo, the tweet remained live for roughly four minutes before the NFL took it down. CBSSports.com's Jason La Canfora reported the league is looking into the situation.
CBSSports.com's Will Brinson may have found the culprit:
NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy told the Associated Press that the league has "engaged law enforcement" regarding the hack. Goodell later commented about the hack on his own Twitter account:
