Nick Collins interception for a touchdown has to be the highlight of the first half of what has been an exciting Super Bowl so far. With 3:34 to go in the first quarter and the Steelers training 7-0 already, Roethlisberger threw an errant pass that Nick Collins intercepted at the Pittsburgh 37.
Pittsburgh had first and 10 on their own seven, and Big Ben dropped back into his own end zone/ With defenders running at him and not wanting to give up a safety, Roethlisberger pump faked and then threw a pass towards Mike Wallace. Nick Collins made a great catch at the 37 and took off running.
First, he faked out running back Rashard Mendenhall, who slipped, and then he ran right for the end zone. With three players in front of the end zone, Collins leaped for it and landed in for the score. This put the Packers up 14-0.
