Oakland Raiders Make a Great Move: Hire Rod Woodson To Coach Defensive Backs

The Oakland Raiders have made a few moves so far this offseason.  First they dismissed Tom Cable replacing him with offensive coordinator Hue Jackson.  They have also added former Pro Bowl offensive lineman Steve Wisniewski to help out with the offensive line. Greg Biekert was promoted to coach the linebackers, and to coach the DBs the Raiders looked to yet another former Oakland Raider.
Today it was announced that Rod Woodson has rejoined the Raiders family and has signed on to coach the defensive backs. This is a great move by Al Davis because Rod Woodson is one of the smartest guys to ever play in the NFL. All of the young defensive backs will benefit immensely from this hiring.
