Packers Vs. Falcons: Turnovers End Atlanta's Playoff Chances
It is going to be a long offseason for the Falcons after their performance against the Packers today.
For a team that was third in the NFL in turnover margin, Atlanta was certainly in the giving mood tonight.
The Falcons have turned the ball over four times. Matt Ryan threw two first half interceptions and he has a second half fumble. Wide receiver Michael Jenkins also coughed the ball up on a fourth quarter fumble.
During the regular season Ryan only threw nine interceptions and he never threw more than two in any game this year.
With just over three minutes left in the game and the Falcons in passing mode it is possible that Ryan could throw his third pick.
The Packers did a fantastic job in this game capitalizing on turnovers by scoring on all of Atlanta’s turnovers.
