Patriots Reach Halfway Mark Without Throwing an Interception

The New England Patriots have yet to throw a single interception this season, becoming just the third team in modern NFL history (since 1933) to make it through the first eight games of a campaign without throwing any interceptions, per Elias Sports Bureau (via ESPN Stats & Info).
The previous two teams were the 1960 Cleveland Browns and the 2008 Washington Redskins. The former team ultimately went 8-3-1 and missed the playoffs, while the latter merely went 8-8 and also fell shy of the postseason.
This year's Patriots are clearly headed for a better fate, sitting at 7-1 and in first place in the AFC East as they head into a Week 9 bye.
The lack of interceptions has been a true team effort, with quarterbacks Jimmy Garoppolo, Jacoby Brissett and Tom Brady each starting at least two games and attempting at least 55 passes.
