Pats-Dolphins: Odds-Makers Favor New England Monday Night

The Miami Dolphins came up short against division rival New York last week, but they can still get off to their first 3-1 start since 2003 with a win over New England Monday night.
However, that won’t be easy against a team that has defeated them in 10 of the last 15 meetings. NFL odds-makers are giving the slightest of edges to New England Monday, listing the Patriots as a one-point favorite with the total set at 46.5.
In order for New England to come away with a win, it is going to need a better performance from its defense. Injuries to Ty Warren and Leigh Bodden are just part of the problem. The reality is New England does not have the same experienced defensive unit that was a staple during its Super Bowl years.
