Pete Carroll: Is He This Year’s Coach of the Year?

Pete Carroll left a bad situation at USC just in time and headed north to Seattle where he took the job coaching the Seahawks.
A lot of people questioned the move because of Carroll's lack of success during his first stint in the NFL and coming from college, where the game is an entirely different beast. However, the coach improved Seattle and got them into a position where the Seahawks could make the playoffs
Seattle did the job against rival St. Louis and then upset New Orleans in a thrilling playoff game. While he doesn't have the credentials of guys like Bill Belichick, he's done a great job and you can't say enough about the job he's done motivating his players.
If the Seahawks win today, there needs to be a lot of praise thrown Pete Carroll's way.
