Philadelphia Eagles vs. Washington Redskins: ‘Skins Look to Sweep on MNF

Following a bye week, the 4-4 Washington Redskins will look to complete the season sweep of the 5-3 Philadelphia Eagles when the two division rivals meet on Monday Night Football.
Beating Philly a second straight time will be no easy task. The Eagles have won eight of their last 10 games at FedEx Field. NFL odds makers have listed the Eagles as a three point favorite with the total set at 43.
The big news heading into Washington’s off week was the benching of starting quarterback Donovan McNabb. Trailing by six late in the last game against Detroit, coach Mike Shanahan made the decision to bring in backup Rex Grossman to run the Redskins’ hurry-up offense.
On his first snap, Grossman was sacked and coughed up the football. The Lions recovered and ran it in for a touchdown.
