Pittsburgh Defeats Baltimore: Intense Battle and Numerous Injuries

The Sunday night game at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore featured a clash between two of the most physical and punishing teams in the NFL.

Entering this game, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens both had a record of eight wins and three losses, finding themselves in a dead heat, racing for sole possession of first place in the AFC North.

This game featured the hard hitting and rough punch-fest that is expected from two teams who have a thirst for inflicting pain on opposing teams. On the Steelers' first possession, Ben Roethlisberger would be the recipient of a broken nose.
The hitting was intense throughout the remainder of the game and yielded casualties to both teams, keeping trainers busy, tending the wounded.

Todd Heap, starting tight end for Baltimore, would leave the game with a strained hamstring. Pittsburgh would suffer a few casualties of their own, other than Roethlisbergers' broken nose.
