Pro Football Hall of Fame: Is Deion Sanders A Lock for the Class of 2011?
Deion Sanders is finally eligible to be inducted in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. His NFL resume is good enough to match up against the greatest to ever play the game.
He was the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 1994 and was selected as NFC Defensive Player of the Year in 1993 and 1994.
Sanders was a six time First Team All-Pro and two time Second Team All-Pro.
Sanders was one of the few true shutdown cornerbacks in the NFL. He essentially made one half of the field off-limits to opposing quarterbacks.
Is he guaranteed a spot in the Class of 2011?
