Randall Cobb Injury: Updates on Packers Star’s Hamstring and Return

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb is recovering from a hamstring injury, and his official playing status for the Week 8 game against the Atlanta Falcons has yet to be announced.

Latest on Cobb's Playing Status Sunday, Oct. 30 ESPN's Adam Schefter reported prior to kickoff that Cobb would not play against the Falcons on Sunday because the Packers want to be careful with the star receiver. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport later supported Schefter's report.
Cobb Struggling to Impress in 2016 The 2014 Pro Bowler is having a second consecutive disappointing season. Cobb is averaging a career-low 9.9 yards per reception, though he does lead the Packers with 39 catches in six games.
The Green Bay offense has already been hit hard by injuries in 2016, with running back Eddie Lacy uncertain to return this season because of an ankle injury that required surgery and landed him on injured reserve.
