Randy Moss: Why the New England Patriots Need To Negotiate

Randy Moss expressed his unhappiness about his current contract situation with CBSSports.com on Monday.  In his defense, I think he handle it pretty professionally by saying the following.
"When you have done so much and put so much work in, it kind of feels like I am not wanted. I am taking that in stride and playing my final year out and whatever the future holds is what it holds, but it is kind of a bad feeling. It is not like my production has gone down. I am speaking from an individual standpoint. I don't know about Tom (Brady) or whoever else's contract."
I understand that it is more important to get the Brady deal worked out, but Moss makes it sound like they aren't even willing to talk about any sort of extension.
I also understand that Moss, at age 33, isn't going to warrant a long-term deal. However, if you offered Moss a two-year extension with a possible team option for a third year base on production, he would only be at the age of 36 by the end of the ...
