Ray Edwards Says He Doesn’t Plan on Attending Vikings Workouts

Judd Zulgad of the Minneapolis Star Tribune is reporting that Vikings defensive end Ray Edwards does not plan on taking part in the team's offseason workout program or organized team activities.
Edwards, who had a very productive postseason for the Vikings with four sacks, received a first-round tender from the organization back in March, but wants to hold off on signing that tender in hopes that another team signs him to an offer sheet.
If Edwards does end up signing the first-round tender from the Vikings, he will make $2.5 million dollars in the 2010 season.
The Vikings will start their offseason workout program on Monday at Winter Park, the team's facility in Eden Prairie, MN.
