Ricardo Lockette Injury Update: Seahawks Place WR on Season-Ending IR

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Ricardo Lockette has been placed on injured reserve and will be out for the rest of the season with a neck injury, the team announced Saturday on its website.
Lockette was injured when he took a huge hit from Dallas Cowboys safety Jeff Heath on a punt return in the first half of Seattle's 13-12 victory over the Cowboys in Week 8.
With Lockette being placed on IR, the Seahawks activated second-year wide receiver Paul Richardson from the physically unable to perform list. Richardson will likely make his season debut Sunday when Seattle takes on the Arizona Cardinals, according to Seahawks.com.
“He looks good and his spirits are great and all,” Carroll said about Lockette, per Seahawks.com. “He’s hampered that he’s got a brace that he’s wearing. Really forward thinking and positive about coming back… We plan on (having him around)."
