Rob Gronkowski Injury: Updates on Patriots Star’s Status

New England Patriots star tight end Rob Gronkowski has a busy, challenging offseason ahead of him, as his back could potentially require surgery. The two-time Pro Bowler is also in the midst of recovering from a broken arm.
According to USA Today's Mike Garafolo, a person who has been briefed on Gronkowski's current medical situation, the 24-year-old tight end will soon meet with spine specialist Robert Watkins to determine the best course of action.
If it is determined that his issue does indeed require him to undergo surgery, the source says that Gronkowski would hopefully be back and ready to go within the same timetable of his arm injury.
It was recently reported that Gronkowski would have to undergo a fourth surgery on his injured left forearm after sustaining an infection.
