Rob Ryan New Dallas Cowboys Defensive Coordinator

The Dallas Cowboys named Rob Ryan as their new defensive coordinator replacing Paul Pasqualoni.
The club reported the news in a press release and did not make Ryan available to the media, according to Nick Eatman of DallasCowboys.com
Ryan has spent the last two seasons with the Cleveland Browns and the previous five in Oakland, all as defensive coordinator.
Before his stay with the Raiders, Ryan coached under Bill Belichick in New England as the Patriots' linebackers coach for four seasons, earning two Super Bowl rings.
Pasqualoni accepted the head coaching position at the University of Connecticut
Former Pro Bowl linebacker Bryan Cox is one name that has been circulating, as well as eight year veteran Jerome Henderson, who spent the last two seasons with Ryan as the Browns' defensive back coach.
