There's No Rush In Naming Starting QB Saturday, May 14 According to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, Jackson said there isn't a timetable for announcing his No. 1 starter this offseason, saying it's "too soon" to give the nod to Griffin. 
RG3, who signed with the team earlier this offseason after being benched by Jay Gruden while with the Washington Redskins last year, has almost accomplished more in three seasons than McCown has in 13:
He was named the 2012 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and won the NFC East before injuries derailed his career and his hopes of starting with the Redskins. In his place, Kirk Cousins stepped in and led Washington to the playoffs last season.
