Rumor: Kurt Warner May Retire Following Playoffs

According to ESPN.com, sources close to Kurt Warner claim he is seriously considering retirement following the completion of this year's playoffs. Warner’s Arizona Cardinals take to the field later today (4:40PM ET on FOX) against the Green Bay Packers.
The two-time NFL Most Valuable Player and former Super Bowl Champion leads a Cardinals squad that finished the regular season 10-6. Not many predict a deep playoff run from the aging Warner and his teammates; however, this was the case in the 2009 playoffs as well when the Arizona Cardinals rode Kurt's hot hand straight to a storybook run to the Super Bowl. The Cardinals lost a tight game to the Pittsburgh Steelers 27-24 in the 2009 championship game but fared much better than the Steelers in the 2009-10 regular season as the Steelers finished third overall in the AFC North, missing a playoff berth.
