Ryan Torain: Washington Redskins Running Back Active Against Tampa Bay

Ryan Torain is back in the lineup for the Washington Redskins in advance of their Week 14 meeting with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The running back has been out of action since Week 8 due to a torn hamstring, and the Redskins' running game has not been the same since their powerful back went down against the Lions.
He had been coming off back to back 100 yard games in Weeks 6 and 7 prior to coming up lame in Week 8, and had emerged as a legitimate force out of the backfield for Washington. Since he went down the team has gone 1-4 and have looked poor on offense.
Torain returning doesn't clearly mean that he'll be re-inserted as the load-carrying starting back, so it's possible rushers Keiland Williams and James Davis will still be in the mix for carries. Still, this has to help a Washington offense that has struggled to get anything going in recent weeks.
