Sad News Chargers Fans, Jackson and McNeil Didn’t Sign

Sad news in San Diego: Vincent Jackson and Marcus McNeill chose not to sign their tenders.
This was the moment we were all waiting for, and hoped against hope it wouldn't turn out this way.
As the final ticks came of the clock and final specks of sand poured through the hourglass, Jackson and McNeill missed their deadline for signing their RFA tenders.
It looks like late November before they will hit the playing field.
They also greatly reduced their pay from:
Jackson: $3.268 Million to $583,000
McNeill: $3.168 Million to $600,000
So this is it: Malcom Floyd is the lead receiver on the Chargers, Naanee has become No. 2, and there's a host of unsigned receivers just aching for a chance to leave their mark.
Jackson and McNeill will come back after Week 10 to keep their active duty as players up, but that's about it.
Don't expect them to give any effort and risk injury. That would greatly reduce their chance of signing a big contract next seaso...
