San Diego Charger Fans: Ryan Matthews Will Be a Stud

Running back Ryan Matthews has very small shoes to fill. I think it's weird that so many articles state that he will have a rough rookie season.
As the first round draft pick for the San Diego Chargers, critics say he has "Too big of shoes to fill, he has too much pressure on him, rookie jitters, he will be a bad pick, and he wasn't worth the gamble." All of these worries are coming to the forefront.
But none of these concerns could be any further from the truth. Let's dispel these myths one by one in hopes that reports of his imminent failure will fade away.
 
Myth 1: There's Too Much Pressure To Fill a Legend's Shoes
True, if this was 2007. Ladainian Tomlinson was the best running back in football—bar none.
But following a poor year in 2008, and a horrible year in 2009, anybody could have replaced LT.
His 3.3 yards per carry ranked 93rd in the NFL amongst running backs.
This will not be hard to replace.
