San Diego Chargers: Roscoe Parish Becomes Third Receiver Signed in Free Agency

Roscoe Parrish reminds me a lot of a signing that was made last season. His name was Laurent Robinson. Both are veterans that know the game well, but never were very impressive. Robinson had a breakout season last season, with the Cowboys, which lead to his big contract in Jacksonville.
Parrish has spent his seven years all in Buffalo. His total receptions for his career are 134. The reason San Diego signed him was to make the training camp receiver battle more intense. Malcom Floyd, Robert Meachem, Eddie Royal, Vincent Brown, Richard Goodman and Roscoe Parrish are the six receivers on the Chargers' roster. The only two that aren't a lock are Goodman and Parrish. Again, it will be a lot like last season.
Before last year, San Diego had many receivers competing for spots. Richard Goodman, Bryan Walters, Seyi Ajirotutu and Laurent Robinson spent many weeks trying for the last two positions. The Chargers picked Goodman, who was only used for kick returns, and Walters, who didn't...
