Seattle Seahawks Add Adrian Peterson To Running Back Stable

A story like this couldn't possibly be kept under wraps, even though finding news of the signing is difficult at best.  Not even on the Seahawks' official website, except for a small blurb on the transactions page.
Don't get too excited.  
It's not that Adrian Peterson.  Unlike the Vikings' powerhouse, who has rushed for at least 1,300 yards in each of his first three seasons, this Adrian Peterson hails from another NFC North team, the Chicago Bears, and has yet to eclipse the 1,300 career yards mark in his eight years as an NFL player.
The Seahawks' running back situation gets more cluttered by the second.  While Justin Forsett still projects to be the starter, he already has a full compliment to share time with Julius Jones and Leon Washington, not to mention Quinton Ganther, Louis Rankin, and fullback Owen Schmitt.
