Seattle Seahawks-New York Giants: With Charlie Whitehurst, Just What Do You Get?

Looks like we are going to get a look at Charlie Whitehurst on Sunday after the announcement that Matt Hasselbeck will be out against the the New York Giants.
Hasselbeck didn’t pass his tests for concussions on Thursday and he wasn’t cleared to play Sunday.
So just who is Charlie Whitehurst? What do we get when we get Whitehurst?
Well, he had to be something, the Seahawks traded down to grab him up from the San Diego Chargers in the this years past draft.
The Seahawks knew the 34-year-old Hasselbeck was in the final year of his contract. So Whitehurst has to be the future.
Whitehurst was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the third round of the 2006 NFL Draft after he played his college ball at Clemson where he managed to rack up 9,665 Yds, 49 TD on 817-of-1368 passing.
