Seattle Seahawks To Aquire Vincent Jackson? This Move Has To Be Made

In what could be arguably one of the biggest possible acquisitions in Seattle Seahawks' history, they have received permission from the Chargers to talk to wide receiver Vincent Jackson about signing a long-term contract, according to Yahoo Sports.
Jackson is currently in a contract standoff with the Chargers, who have tendered him a one-year deal. Jackson claims he will sit out the first 10 games of the season to earn an accredited season if the Chargers don't restructure his contract, thus making him an unrestricted free agent in the next offseason.
The Chargers have shown no interest in signing him to a long-term deal that he finds sufficient, so a trade might come next. A source tells Yahoo Sports that the Chargers are willing to trade Jackson.
