Terrell Owens Signs Contract with Cincinnati Bengals: Stat Prediction

VH1 might as well move its operations to Cincinnati now.

Free-agent wide receiver Terrell Owens has signed a one-year, $2 million contract with the defending AFC North champion Cincinnati Bengals, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The deal includes incentives that could make Owens an additional $2 million.

TO was presumably signed to be a complementary weapon for QB Carson Palmer and to help tutor the Bengals' numerous young receivers (Jordan Shipley, Jermaine Gresham, Andre Caldwell).

But how successful will he be once the time comes to put on the pads?

In 2009, Owens caught just 55 balls to total 829 yards and five touchdowns.

More alarming was the receiver's nine dropped balls that ranked him fourth in the league. 

Taking into consideration a slide in breakaway speed and off the line of scrimmage power, Owens' stats should drop even more this season despite playing with a Pro Bowl quarterback.
