What takes a team from a rebuilding process and turns it into a Super Bowl conteneder?
Brett Favre.
Lets face it. As long as Favre puts on the pads, the Minnesota Vikings and the entire NFL will benefit.
Even as a fan of the San Diego Chargers, a team that plays further away from Minnesota than any other, I am ecstatic to see Favre play for another season.
In an era where agents, lawyers, and publicists dominate—and nobody is happy with their contract—Favre represnts the last of a dieing breed, and a breed that the NFL needs.
He is a guy who actually plays for the love of the game! He is a showman and a gentleman and a representative to what is right with football.
If Chris Johnson, Andre Johnson, Terrel Owens, Albert Haynseworth, and other players followed Favre's example we could probably still take our families to the game for less than a hundred bucks.
