The New Todd Haley: Kansas City Chiefs Coach Adapting to Success

Last year at this time, the Chiefs were 0-3 with all three losses coming from blowouts. There was cussing, yelling, screaming, pointing, and almost any other anger-related mental breakdown that you could think of, being projected out of Todd Haley.
A lot has changed since then.
Previous to last year's losses was the hardest training camp in pro football. To some coaches, a training camp like that could have even been considered counterproductive. But when a guy like Todd Haley doesn't know what he has, he finds out quick. He had those players killing each other on the practice field, trying to find out anything he could about them. Those are the type of things that first-year coaches have to go through before they can even begin to trust the players that they have. In Haley's case, he was taking over arguably the worst team in pro football.
