There Is No LT in Chargers: Bolts Better Off without LaDainian Tomlinson

Enough is enough.
“The things that happened in San Diego , everything was taken away from me,” Tomlinson said. “There wasn’t an emphasis on running the football anymore, my best fullback was gone, the linemen were pass blocking and it was a passing quarterback and a passing coach. So, the situation’s kind of misleading when you look on film.”
This is how he paid his respects to the city and team that launched his career. This after A.J. Smith signed (largely at the fan's behest), him to another year in 2009 after a not so great '08. Tomlinson quietly had a respectable scoring  season (12 TDs) this year but had his worst career rushing average at 3.3 yards per carry.
So Phillip Rivers is not supposed to pass the ball? Norv was supposed to consult LT or give him the earpiece in the huddle? The only beef I had with LT's use this year was not using him on the option in the Red Zone— but this too would have involved passing...
