Thoughts on Brandon Marshall in Seattle

Brandon Marshall couldn't have picked a more beautiful day to visit the Pacific Northwest.  But a scenic view isn't what the soon-to-be 26-year-old standout wide receiver is visiting our corner of the country for.  Nor is it strictly business.  For the Seattle Seahawks and Mr. Marshall it's all about getting to know one another.  Seattle proved that when it did not offer a contract today, instead reestablishing old ties between new Offensive Coordinator Jeremy Bates and Marshall.  Marshall played under Bates in Denver, and from what he candidly told Seahawks current receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh, he really enjoyed the experience.
It's important to note these relationships, as Marshall has had issue after issue during his time with the Broncos.  He has said over and over that he was extremely unhappy being in Denver, and having positive connections in Seattle could certainly help his opinion of our fair city.  Marshall recently testified in cou...
