Three Backup QBs the Broncos Should Sign in Case of Peyton Manning Injury

The sore subject of Peyton Manning's infamous, surgically-repaired neck has been and continues to be a source of banter and fodder for the NFL world.

John Elway gets paid the big bucks to run the football operations for the Denver Broncos but for my two cents worth, I prefer a more dependable "Plan B" QB option to be in place.

I have gone on record on numerous occasions stating my comfort level and lack of concern with regard to Manning's neck in particular.

My comfort level does not preclude my desire for a solid backup plan given the grueling punishment an NFL QB endures on a weekly basis.

With the spotlight shining so brightly upon Manning's neck, many have dismissed the fact that the risk of an injury to Manning could actually involve a different body part that would not carry the threat of an end to his season and/or career.

With so much hope and promise looming this season, are the Broncos properly prepared for losing Manning for even ...
