Maurice Jones-Drew finally decided to show up last week, helping his Jaguars to a big overtime victory over the Texans. Though many expected the game to be a passing shootout, Jones-Drew had his biggest fantasy game of the year as he rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns while adding 23 yards receiving.
Though he has a couple tough matchups against the Browns and Giants over the next two weeks, the schedule lightens up for the fantasy playoffs when he faces the Raiders, Colts and Redskins. Jones-Drew moves up three spots to ninth among running backs.
One of the biggest fallers this week is New York Jets running back LaDainian Tomlinson. After a surprisingly excellent start to the season, the former league MVP has trailed off over the past few weeks and has not hit the end zone since his Week 6 performance against the Broncos.
Though he continues to contribute solid total yardage numbers, it was Shonn Greene who received 20 carries to Tomlinson’s 18 in Week 10.
