Vikings Defense Holds Odell Beckham to Career-Low Receiving Total

The Minnesota Vikings defense held New York Giants star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to a career-low 23 receiving yards in Monday night's 24-10 victory for Minnesota, per ESPN Stats & Info. Beckham's previous low came in Week 6 of his rookie 2014 campaign when he totaled just 28 yards receiving against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Beckham's breakout rookie campaign started late due to hamstring injuries, holding him to just 12 games. That didn't stop him from posting 1,305 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns on 91 receptions, highlighted by one of the greatest catches in NFL history.
While many rookies suffer through a sophomore slump, Beckham excelled in his second go-around. He was able to compete in 15 games last season and totaled 1,450 yards receiving yards and 13 touchdowns on 96 grabs.
