Donovan McNabb. What do you think of when you hear that name? The Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, the best quarterback to lead his team to five NFC Championship games, but only to never win the big one?
What about the worst trade of all-time? That is correct, both the Eagles, and the Redskins may have made the worst moves ever.
What did the Eagles do wrong? They traded away Donovan McNabb, that is what. Some may argue that Kevin Kolb or Michael Vick can lead the Eagles, but neither of them can. In Kolb's twelve career games, he has thrown only four touchdowns to seven interceptions. He has a career quarterback rating of 68.9, and it is safe to say that putting the entire franchise on a quarterback that has only played in twelve games is not the best thing you can do, especially a franchise called the Philadelphia Eagles.
They threw snowballs at Santa Claus for God's sake! At least you know that McNabb could get you to the final two games of the season.
