WR Patrick Crayton Acquired By Chargers

The Chargers made a roster move on Friday that is sure to impact the final cut down due Saturday.
With Pro Bowl wide out Vincent Jackson holding out, the Chargers acquired receiver Patrick Crayton from the Dallas Cowboys.  The specifics of the deal have not yet been announced, but ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the Cowboys will receive a seventh-round draft pick in exchange for the six-year veteran.
Crayton was a seventh-round draft pick of the Cowboys in 2004.  In six seasons with Dallas, Crayton caught 196 passes for a total of 2,888 yards and scored 23 touchdowns.  His best season was in 2007 when he had 50 catches for 697 yards and seven touchdowns.
The acquisition of Crayton means the end of the line for at least one of the Chargers receivers on the bubble of making the team.
