2010 New York Giants: It’s Do or Die for Coach Tom Coughlin

Head Coach Tom Coughlin of the New York Giants has ridden the coat tails of an improbable 2007 Super Bowl run for the past two seasons, being given the benefit of the doubt despite having poor finishes in both 2008 and 2009.
Questions are starting to resurface as to whether or not he truly has the capability to get the most out of this team, seeing as how he failed miserably once defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo left for greener pastures.
I've begun to wonder myself if his personality change from a dictator to a player's coach had anything to do with the team getting a ring, or was it simply because Spags was just that good.
After a poor 8-8 2009 campaign and yet another terrible end to the season (that makes five out of his six years the Giants have been awful in the second half), these questions aren't surprising, just disappointing.
Now that Antonio Pierce has lit the fire under Coughlin's seat, fans and the organization alike will begin evaluating the job ...
