2010 NFL Draft: Jimmy Clausen’s Pro Day Makes Him a Near Top-10 Lock

The 2010 NFL Draft is now 13 days away. As private workouts and visits become an extreme in the upcoming week, executives and scouts everywhere saw the final Pro Day for all the quarterbacks in South Bend.
Prospect Jimmy Clausen was one of the few Notre Dame prospects that were present and showing off to NFL clubs.
However, the former three-year starter was the showcase of the workout.
Heading in, nobody was aware of his stock. Most analysts see him as a top-ten selection, landing with the Bills, the Raiders, or the Jaguars.
The St. Louis Rams, currently the owner of the top selection, are also a candidate. Not only were the Rams represented at the workout, but Clausen is scheduled to visit with the Rams next week.
Based on the tapes that were shown, along with the opinions of other experts, Clausen had a solid Pro Day.
Jimmy was 57-59 of his passing attempts, two of them were interceptions that were overthrown.
