2010 NFL Draft: Joe Haden is Cleveland Brown’s No. 1, but Who’s Next?

With the Cleveland Browns' first pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, they took cornerback Joe Haden.
Haden most likely was rated the best player available to the Browns with the No. 7 overall pick, and that's not a bad thing because the Browns need a lot of help in their secondary.
With all the trading going on in the first round, it can be surmised that the Browns were looking for a tradedown, but just couldn't find a partner willing to trade that far up in the first round.
That's speculation though, so sticking to what we do know, Haden is well-liked by everyone in the Browns front office.
"You can never have too many good corners," said head coach Eric Mangini in a postdraft interview in the Orange and Brown Report.
That is the key statement to remember about this pick—Mangini spent way too much time last year watching his corners and safeties get torched, and it's not a stretch to say Mangini was probably vocal in draft preparation about not letting that happ...
