2010 NFL Draft: What Should the San Francisco 49ers Do in the First Round?

Though the San Francisco 49ers finished two games behind the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC West, they had a better division record (5-1) and swept the Cardinals during the 2009 season.
The retirements of Kurt Warner and Bertrand Berry, the trade of Anquan Boldin, and the free agent defections of Karlos Dansby and Antrel Rolle have all arguably positioned the 49ers to overtake the two-time defending division champions and make their first playoff appearance since 2002.
The 49ers haven’t made any major moves in free agency (biggest signing so far has been David Carr), but they haven’t lost any key players either.
Head coach Mike Singletary is an old-school coach who believes that the best way to improve is through the NFL Draft (a.k.a. bringing in his players to play the way he wants to play), and with that mentality he must be excited to have two first-round picks in the top 17 choices this year.
