2010 NFL Mock Draft: Gerald McCoy Slips Out Of Top 5?

Round One:

1. St. Louis Rams- Sam Bradford, Quarterback, Oklahoma

At this point it looks as though the Rams are set on taking Sam Bradford with the first overall pick in the draft. I love this move, and so should all Rams fans out there.

Sam Bradford has a great arm, undoubtedly. Unfortunately, he missed almost all of his junior season, causing his stock, at a time, to drop somewhat.

Nonetheless, the Rams are looking to start over fresh. What better way to do it than to select one of the best quarterbacks to come out in quite some time.


2. Detroit Lions- Russell Okung, Offensive Tackle, Oklahoma State

Although Ndamukong Suh is a better prospect, Detroit would be smarter to take Russell Okung with the second pick.

Acquiring Corey Williams will force the Lions into drafting a position of need in offensive tackle.
