2011 NFL Draft: Kansas City Chiefs Need To Look To the Core

The Kansas City Chiefs made the playoffs!!!  Time to celebrate, right??  Of course, but there is just something not right when I watch them play.  All year I have been waiting for the return of the 2009 Chiefs.  I kept waiting for a team to just be hard nosed and continue to pound the rock up the gut.  In week 17 that happened and it brought my fears to reality. 
The Chiefs are a good team but we are not of the elite caliber, yet. When you look at the power house teams they have one thing in common, a solid core.  On defense from nose tackle to linebacker to the offense with solid offensive line play and a good running attack.  I believe the Chiefs have the right motto, "RUN THE BALL AND STOP THE RUN". 
The 2011 draft is not star studded like last years draft so I believe we draft best player available that will also assist our needs.  Here is a list of possible future Kansas City Chiefs through round 5.
