2011 NFL Draft: Leonard Hankerson and the South Day One Practice
Leonard Hankerson was all over the field for the South and looks every bit the part of an NFL receiver. 6'1 5/8", 205 pounds, the Miami Hurricane looked physically capable of playing at the next level.
TCU's Andy Dalton was the best quarterback for the South on Day One, and his potential at the next level will continue to be a topic of debate. He lacks size and may not be durable enough for the next level as a starter though.
Luke Stocker, tight end from Tennessee, looks solid overall and could grade out as a good all-around tight end on Draft weekend.
The South running backs feature a group of players to keep an eyes, but Derrick Locke of Kentucky, while small, could prove to be the most productive.
Mississippi State's Derek Sherrod had an up and down down and got beat by speed rushes a few times.
Baylor's Danny Watkins showcased great power and footwork in an all-around solid day.
