2011 NFL Draft: Nevada's Duel Threat Colin Kaepernick Stealing Show In Mobile
Meanwhile, according to reports, Nevada's Colin Kaepernick has become the star of the Senior Bowl by doing what Jake Locker is supposed to be doing.
We all remember Kaepernick, don't we? That quarterback from Nevada who was on the fringe of the college football subconscious most of his career. We'd all heard of him, but no one really paid attention to him. That was until he faced Boise State on that chilly Friday night and had the game of his life in the upset of the Broncos.
Now he's down in Mobile and apparently having a great week, making precision throws and being able to combine his mobility and explosiveness out of the pocket with making throws. He's apparently impressed so much that Shawn Zobel of 1500 ESPN in Minneapolis suggested Kaepernick could be a good fit with the Vikings in the middle rounds.
