2011 NFL Draft Rumors See USC's Malcolm Smith on the Rise
It always helps when your big brother is Pro Bowl wide receiver and Super Bowl Champion. It also helps even more when you run 4.44 in the 40 yard dash at the linebacker position.
Malcolm Smith is hardly a prototype linebacker, in fact, with his size and speed you would likely consider him a possible safety in the NFL if he could cover at all.
At 6', 226-pounds, Smith is an undersized weakside linebacker that will have trouble adjusting to the size of blockers in the NFL.
He projects as a great special teamer early though, and is reportedly gaining momentum at just the right time.
