2011 NFL Mock Draft Da’Quan Bowers Rushing to the Pound
Da’Quan Bowers has seen his draft stock tumble mightily this draft season due to injury concerns and a poor Pro Day.
According to Nate Ulrich of the Beacon Journal, the Cleveland Browns have cleared Bowers’ troublesome knee.
This prevents him from falling in this mock as Mike Holmgren has selected perceived top-level pass-rushers in the past.
The Browns have a stout defense, but need to improve their pass rush to increase pressure on the quarterback. Bowers is one of the better pass-rushers in the draft.
