2011 NFL Mock Draft Gives Detroit Lions Much Needed Secondary Help
2011 NFL Mock Draft: Prince Amukamara, CB, Nebraska
Amukamara is someone available that has Top 10 talent but drops this far because other teams are looking to address other needs or taking risks.  Luckily for the Lions, they badly need some help in the secondary and Amukamara is still available.
The Dallas Cowboys were a team that were said to be very interested in adding this cornerback from Nebraska, but they pulled a semi-shocker by taking Florida’s Mike Pouncey at No. 9.
ESPN’s Mel Kiper writes:
“There may be questions about how perfectly Amukamara fits Detroit's scheme, but it's hard to believe they'd pass up perhaps the best pure cover corner in the draft at this position.
