2011 NFL Mock Draft Has Patriots Taking Mikel Leshoure at No. 28
We tend to think of the New England Patriots offense as a decidedly pass-heavy affair. But not so fast, good sir. Only the Houston Texans racked up more rushing touchdowns than the Pats last season, and let's not overlook the fact that BenJarvus Green-Ellis became the first Pats running back to rush for 1,000 yards since Corey Dillon in 2004.
All this being said, the Pats do have some age concerns at the running back position, and you'll have to excuse me if I'm not sold on the idea of Danny Woodhead being a consistent weapon in the NFL.
The Patriots will have all sorts of options when they're on the clock with the 28th pick in the NFL Draft, but one guy I can see them taking is Illinois running back Mikel Leshoure.
