2011 NFL Mock Draft: Patrick Peterson Is Still The Pick For The Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos need more than Champ Bailey

The Denver Broncos signing Champ Bailey doesn’t mean they have to be out of the running for the best cover corner in the draft. After all the Broncos did rank 25th in the NFL last year in their passing defense. Having Champ Bailey last year proved that he couldn’t do it all by himself, and he’s not getting any younger.

Patrick Peterson is a special talent and getting him could help a secondary that is in need of an upgrade. Of course the Broncos will now be eyeing other options, but don’t be surprised if they come back to their first instinct.
