Baltimore Ravens Find Possible Draft Steal in Underrated Smith
No. 26 Mock Draft Pick: Jimmy Smith, CB, Colorado
With all the experts raving about the All-Pro potential of cornerback’s Patrick Peterson and Prince Amumakara, another name boasting that same kind of talent has flown under the radar – Jimmy Smith.
Mike Maycock of NFL.com com had this to say about Smith: “He had an inconsistent junior season at Colorado, but he's a tremedous athlete. He's long and physical, but he's too inconsistent, which is the reason he isn't higher up on the board. “
But that kind of athleticism and physical traits is hard to find in any prospect that could be deployed in an NFL secondary.  Smith’s subpar season in Colorado make him a generally underrated prospect, but the natural talent is there. 
That is why the Mel Kiper believes he could be plucked late in the first round by the Ravens, who need to add some youth and talent to their secondary.
