2011 NFL Playoff Schedule: Do the Seahawks Have a Chance Vs the Saints?
The answer is no; a quick, short, "No."
As much as I'd like to think a 16-6 victory over the St. Louis Rams is the sign of a rebirth for the Seattle Seahawks, my brain tells me, "No, Ryan, no."
The Seahawks finished 7-9, still have a bad defense despite frustrating Rams QB Sam Bradford, and don't have nearly the offense to keep up with the Saints.
Home-field advantage can sway a game, but not a game in which both teams are so vastly opposite.
The Saints are a Super Bowl contender; the Seahawks had trouble contending in the NFC West.
As much as I'd like to see a close game for entertainment's sake, it won't be. Unless something goes horribly wrong with Drew Brees.
The Saints won in Week 11, 34-19.
